Voi Memorial

Admiral Terrence Hood presiding over the ceremony at the Voi Memorial, March 3rd, 2553.

The Voi Memorial was erected in March 2553, marking the end of the Human-Covenant War and to remember all who were lost during the conflict.  At the time, Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 was missing and presumed KIA during the Battle of Installation 00.  Admiral Hood presided over the ceremony, which was attended, in much controversy, by Thel 'Vadam.

These events are depicted in the novel Halo: Glasslands which was the subject of a Book Club on May 22nd, 2019and the video game Halo 3, which was the subject of several Mission Debrief episodes in spring to summer 2019.
